Spoooooky 1st Thursday

It’s time again for 1st Thursday! This month’s event will be an exciting exploration of a few new activities.

The upstairs of Roxy Theatre Antiques will be open to the public for a Live Painting Demonstration by our own Heidi Elkington; in lieu of her usually nickel portraits Heidi will be painting live with the windows open to the sounds of 10 Cent Lovin’ playing on the StrEatery outside.

Before enjoying a glass of wine on the StrEatery you may wish to wander over to Spectra Art Gallery, where artists from their ‘This Is Halloween’ call-for-artists will be displaying their spooky, witchy, and hallow’s eve submissions.

After picking up your pumpkin at the Farmer’s Market, be sure to bring the kids in tow to the Kennewick Community Center for Pumpkin Painting, and while making the loop head over to the East Benton County History Museum to see their current collection with free admission from 4-7p!

No need to wait for summer – Red Mountain Kitchen – Downtown’s brand new ‘foodie’ incubator is up and running with the launch of it’s Indoor Market. The Indoor Market will bring a few of your favorite summer vendors back to Downtown year-round, and new vendors will also be joining the fun with a variety of ready-to-eat foods, fresh produce, and packaged food and gifts!

February is also the 16th anniversary of Roxy Theatre Antiques at 101 West Kennewick Avenue! Come by the store, enjoy Rockabilly coffee, and music by 10 Cent Lovin. Ceili Winery  will be showcasing wonderful wines – bottled right here in Kennewick.

Gallery Underground – underground Roxy Theatre Antiques – will be showcasing the ‘Artist Collective’ and original art. Meet the artists and be inspired to purchase original artwork for your home or office.

Looking for another antique browsing experience? Join Bergan’s Timeless Treasures for a wide variety of antiques, home furnishings, and crafts all while listening to pianist John Crigler. Amy Bergan will inspire you with ‘Art on Furniture’ paint demonstrations throughout the evening.
